This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of Cadence ITIL 4 Academy. It supplements our Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP and report illegal activity to authorities.
Permitted use
- Personal study and professional development.
- Internal team training, where each learner has their own account.
- Citing short excerpts with attribution for educational discussion.
You must not
- Share login credentials or access another user's account without permission.
- Resell, rent, sublicense, or redistribute lessons, battle cards, scenarios, or other content.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically download Service content or data.
- Reverse-engineer the Service except as expressly permitted by law.
- Defeat security measures, rate limits, paywalls, or access controls.
- Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to disrupt the Service.
- Submit false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other users or staff.
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited messages.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written permission (responsible-disclosure reports are welcome — see Contact).
- Use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, export controls, or sanctions.
AI and automation
Automated tools may not be used to mass-extract content, simulate large numbers of accounts, or train commercial AI models on Cadence-authored material without our written consent.
Reporting abuse
To report a violation of this AUP, please use the Contact page with details of the issue, accounts involved, and any supporting evidence.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion, warn the user, remove offending content, throttle access, suspend the account, or terminate the account permanently. For serious violations or where required by law, we may also notify and cooperate with law-enforcement authorities.
